Happy Birthday Lydia!

We not only celebrate our resident's birthdays at A Paradise for Parents, we celebrate our staff birthdays as well. Our wonderful manager Lydia Marquez had a birthday last week. So we all met at t Teppan Yaki restaurant in Surprise, AZ on Saturday night to celebrate.

Nurses Do the Check-Ups in our Homes

Arizona Department of Health regulations require that a contracted nurse or Doctor create 'service plans' for our residents. The service plans let us know what we need to do to keep our residents in the best shape they can.

Flor is the nurse for our Surprise homes. She updates the service plans for our residents every 3, 6 or 12 months depending the level of care the residents need. She also administers Tuberculosis tests to our staff if they need an annual test.

Bible Study is a Big Hit at our Assisted Living Homes!

Just a little more about Robert. He is non-denominational and is not seeking to convert anyone to a particular religion. He just helps brings a message of hope for everyone and talks to our residents about appreciating all the wonder of life.

He also plays a pretty good guitar. The residents like to here him play. They even join in and sing with him when the mood strikes them.
